Hello, handful of people who visit my page. I know I haven't been around for a while, but I just thought I'd post a small update just for the hell of it. I am happy to announce that on October 20th my fiance Jonathan and I finally tied the knot. We decided to just get married at our local circuit courthouse (which, by the way, is way, WAY easier and cheaper than planning a full-blown wedding). You don't nee to spend thousands of dollars. You don't need to fret over every minute detail. You don't need a dress and a tux. Hell, we didn't even need to have witnesses. We simply applied for the marriage license, waited the mandatory three days, then went in and got married in under 30 minutes. No long, dramatic ceremony. Just "Do you take him? Do you take her?" and bam! Sure weddings are nice, but I don't understand why more people don't do it this way.
Afterward we had an excellent lunch at Olive Garden (best restaurant EVER), and went to a Lightning game. Then on Saturday we went out to Medieval Times in Orlando, which for those of you who don't know is a really awesome dinner show with jousting, sword fights, pretty, pretty horses, and absolutely to-die-for food. The arena is divided up into colored sections, and each section is assigned a knight to cheer for in the show. And would you believe it, our knight actually won! He won the entire tournament, and defeated the bad guy at the end. So that was really fun, especially since Jonathan had never been to a Medieval Times show before.
And if anyone is curious, my new last name is White.
In other news, I just got Skyrim Remastered for Xbox One, and it's awesome. I know a lot of people think that it's not much of an improvement over the old one, and perhaps that's true, but I'm quite happy with it, mainly because now I don't need a 360 to play it. The environments in the game were always beautiful, but now they're so amazing that I often just find myself staring out at the landscape and marveling at its beauty. I haven't tried any of the mods yet, but I am curious to see what they can offer. Yes, I play Elder Scrolls on console, (I know, I'm evil), so I am new to the whole modding thing. But I might give a few a try when I get bored.
And if anyone is wondering, I am aware of this Sonic 2017 project, and my curiosity is sufficiently piqued. I am so, SO glad that Sega is doing something other than this Sonic Boom nonsense, which I refuse to acknowledge in any way. I'm also excited to hear that it will be on next gen consoles. I don't really expect it to be anything outstanding -- Sega's major projects usually aren't -- but who the hell knows. I just want something that isn't Boom. I haven't played a new Sonic game since Generations, so I am definitely eager to hear more details about this baby.
And also, Sonic movie, how about that? I've known about that for like a year, but I haven't mentioned it, partly because I didn't even dare believe it was true. I'm also feeling very cautious about the whole thing, because in this day and age, movies just aren't good anymore... They're nothing but excessive CGI, bad writing, bad acting, reboot/remake dribble-poop. That doesn't mean I won't scream like a bitch when I see an actual real-life trailer of the thing. What can I say? The fangirl is still there. She's buried deep, deep down within me, but she's still there. She just hasn't had anything to get excited about in a long time.
Well, that's all for now. Just wanted to get that bit of news out there. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Hello Everybody
Hello, everyone. Thank you for your kind birthday wishes.
Just wanted to check in and report that I'm not dead. Though earlier this year I thought I would be, because I got bit by a dog and thought I had tetanus. x.x (long story). The good news is I didn't. The bad news is I got slapped with another ridiculously large hospital bill -- $3,000 to be exact. Hurray for being thousands of dollars in debt because I don't want to die!
So, what am I up to? Well, aside from trying to figure out which direction my life is going in and what the hell my purpose is, I've just been hanging out, working, watching hockey, occasionally making feeble attempt
Fall To-Do List
It's October at last, hurray! I feel like I've been waiting for October and for fall all year long. Fall is hands-down my favorite season, and it does not last nearly long enough in Florida. And October especially has become a very special month for me. It's the season of Halloween. It's the month Jonathan and I started dating, and the month that we plan to get married in. It's the opening of hockey season. (WOO!) There are just so many reasons to celebrate this month. :)
In the spirit of things, I've decided to make a fall to-do list, or a fall "bucket list". I've seen people doing this all over the internet, and I think it's a cute idea. I
Starting a Blog
A few posts back I mentioned that I wanted to start a blog. This is actually something I've wanted to do for a really long time. I love reading blogs. I have several that I love to visit, and I find the stuff on them so inspiring and interesting. Some people out there lead such interesting lives and have amazing insights and tips to share with the world. I wish I was one of them. I wish I had some super interesting hobby or incredible talent that I could write about in a blog. I've been thinking long and hard about what I could write about, but so far it seems that nothing about me is blog-worthy. I'm not really an expert on anything... aside
A Fun Hospital Experience
And by "fun" I mean "absolutely not fun at all."
Yeah, I ended up in the hospital this Monday. I had been feeling pretty bad all weekend, and it all started on Friday evening when Jonathan and I went for a long walk. When I got home I felt extremely dizzy and lightheaded, short of breath, and my chest was hurting. On the left side. In other words, on the heart side. I've had problems in the past with a skipping heartbeat and chest pain, and it has always worried me. But now I was starting to have classic heart attack symptoms. I was pretty freaked out, but I told myself to just relax and try to take it easy. Maybe I just overworked myself. B
