The Nightmare, the Demon, the Shadow ... the Evil One: Mephiles the Dark.
I just had to draw him finally. He is definately one of the most awesome villains to hit the Sonic series so far -- a villain you could truly fear and hate. In my opinion, Mephiles could have been the sole villain of Sonic Next-gen. Iblis ... yeah he was big and scary and he breathed fire and all that ... But Mephiles is the mastermind, the one who really triggered the destruction of the world. Mephiles will most likely make an appearance in LoM -- that is, if I ever write it again. ¬¬ But just imagine him and Kovar, the main enemy of the last LoM story, joining forces. You'd have the ultimate demon and the God of War fighting side by side. Man, would the Freedom Fighters be in for it. x__x Mephiles © SEGA & Sonic Team |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
